I was travelled to Sigiriya with my friends on march 2018. I never forget that day. Because of that place is very wonderful and niceful. Sigiriya is eight world heritage site in the world. It is one of the best place to travaling and enjoy for all the tourist and others .
Sigiriya is an ancient rock and the kindom of king Kasyapa. It is located in the Matale disrict near the town of dambulla. That main road located in Inamaluwa junction and turn left here and then you can find and meetthat acient kindom very easy. There are have facilities to take food and others.
The king Kasayapa built his palace on the top of this rock and using very wonderful technology for that. When visit that places you will be forget nowadays technology and will be wonder about it. When you go visit Sigiriya you can see the "Diya Agala" right side in aong the road. Nowadays it has more waters like past time . It built to protect this kindom.
We are travaling and visit all the places in here. You can get some idea about it through the following pictures. Most of the touristments and other person come to visit that place . And all are like to climb the top of the rock. Now a days the way of climb the rock is very easy and safeful than in the past time.After you went the top of the rock you can visit surrounding in the Sri Lanka very clearly. Sometime you will be wonder after you visit top of the rock.
This is a one of the beautiful city located in the Sri Lanka. When you climb the rock meet upper palace located on the flat top of the rock . And a mid-level terrace that includes the lion legs (gate) and the mirror wall.
Frescoes
When you climb the rock you can visit frescoes of the middle part of the rock. But in that place you can not permision to take a photograph. There are various beautiful and ancient pictures . Some are belive that they are the ladies of the king's and other one is that women taking part in religious observances. This pictures same to the icture of "Ajantha" caves in India.
Mirror wall.
This is a very important place all the visitors. In the ancient period people of all things wrote on the wall. Such as , love , irony , and experiences and information about it.but now a days has fence around there for the protection of the old writings.
Gardens.
The gardens of the sigiriya city are one of the wonderful side in the world. There had been kind of tree gardens.
1. Water gardens.
2. Cave and boulder gardens.
3. Terraced gardens.
In the water garden all the person feasting. Because there are using very wonderful technology. Some technology are not find untill today . For example the water carried to the top of the rock. Today you can see water on the top of the rock. That is very secret technology use in the past time. You can see the ruins of three garden had been in the past time through visit Sigiriya.
The kingdom of Sigiriya is a very wonderful and imaginative plan.
